“In December 2018, I saw a robot-assisted surgery in Germany, the first time I saw it for myself. That moment promised my commitment. After returning to China, I founded Robot X Lab, which later became Tuodao® Medical.”——Dr. Cheng Min.
Strongly motivated since then, Dr. Cheng, chairman and founder of Tuodao® Medical and an expert in robotics, gathered a group of like-minded talents in the industry. Their insights into the clinical needs were translated into robot-directed product pipelines in five surgical fields. July: Successfully completed the registration clinical trials for the YC100 Tuoling Laparoscopic Surgical Robot. in urological, gynecological, and general surgery applications.
September: The YC100 Tuoling Laparoscopic Surgical Robot made its debut appearance at the Chinese Urological Association (CUA) Annual Meeting.
The Tuoling Laparoscopic Surgical Robot received market approval.
